I love Pinterest but it doesn’t depress me. At least no more than magazines, TV or my friend’s house which is always perfect. It gives me great ideas.It inspires me!

I am crafty but not original. I can take someone else’s idea, do it or modify it and make something great. I love that.

I’m actually hoping to do what Elizabeth is planning on doing — only working until noon, except for one day per week when he goes to the babysitter and on Fridays (meetings).

But yes, EPIC sounds like a GREAT plan!

I’ll be working until 12noon but then Charlie and I can have fun. I’ve got him enrolled in 2 VBS’s so far and then we are both going to Scout Day Camp. In August I’m going to BlogHer and then Charlie has Robot camp. We had planned on going back to Africa with my Dad but that is out for now.

Since both Hubby and I work from home summers are rough for us. Charlie will keep himself entertained for a bit but then he gets bored and starts pestering Hubby.

I usually feel like I “endure” summer as well.

Wow! Wish I had known about this earlier and could have applied for it. What a great program.

Did you know that Half Price books does a Half Pint Library giveaway once a year? They give 2 boxes of books per person to start off and then towards the end they give away anything. It must be for a non profit entity, school or library though. I did it last year and scored about 15 boxes myself. This year 2 of us went and ended up with over 40 boxes! We sort through the boxes and offer the school librarian first choice. Then the teachers get to pick what they want to supplement their classroom libraries, resouces, etc. The teachers love it!

Any books left over I just return to Half Price books or donate to the women’s shelter.
